Wilmaaaaa!

It's kind of hard to take a hurricane named after Fred Flintstone's wife very seriously, but this storm looks to be a doozie: from category 1 to cat 5, overnight...slowly, ever so slowly—at 7 knots per hour—threading the needle between Cuba and the Yucatan, which means it's got more time to spool up...supposed to take a hard right and head straight for...you got it, FLORIDA. Which means it'll be over the Gulf even longer and therefore have more time to become even more violent. Ouch.

Look at this CRAZY projection!

It's probably heading straight for poor old Punta Gorda.
