This is Your War No More
Too bad. I guess it was a matter of time till the powers that be clamped down on the scores of milblogs being maintained by our soldiers in Iraq. Apparently there have been cases of family members finding out about loved ones being wounded or killed by reading these blogs before being officially notified. And soldiers giving the unvarnished truth about this war is a potential PR nightmare that the military wants to avoid.

I could keep going but under these circumstances it would be a lie. I have already had to change this because I knew others in my Chain of Command were reading my words and thoughts. I was already being untrue to my original intention of telling the truth as I see it, of telling one Soldier's story in this war. My story.End of story, for now.
