Bon Voyage!

Well, it was really, really hard to do, but we gave away our little Ursula and Tiger to a good friend's sister over the weekend. We had resolved to keep our four little babies from the back yard together (six cats total, counting Mikey and Steve), but the stars aligned and we were able to find them a good home with "family," which means we'll be able to see them again from time to time.

Most of the guilt and sadness lay in splitting the four siblings up, but Ursula and Tiger's new parents will love them endlessly. Kylie and Romanov were a little out of sorts for a day or so but they are doing okay. Animals sure are resilient.

Here are some recent pictures of our furry little friends:

Freedom of the Press...But Not in Chad

Yet another journalist has been jailed in Chad for "inciting hatred," a euphemism for critizing the government.

No matter how down we get on our government here in the States, we do have a lot to be thankful for. It ain't perfect, but it could be a lot worse. Now let's make it even better.
